I recently took back two 2014 Desmond "Custom Model" guitars from my wonderful dealer, Savage Classical Guitars in New York.  It seems that high end classical guitars over $5,000.00 are just not moving during this economic depression.  Since they were under consignment with Rich, he allowed me to take them back and try to sell them utilizing other avenues.  Therefore, I am advertising them on my website.  Both guitars are in brand new condition.  Both guitars are Torres/Hauser like instruments.   Photos coming soon.

It is rare that I have Desmond guitars for sale, as usually they have a home before they are made, or are going to my dealer for retail sale.  However, these are tough times for guitar makers and dealers.  The downturn in the economy that hit us around 2008 is still keeping buyers of high end concert classical guitars from buying and investing in a great instrument.  This is a good time for interested buyers to shop.  I am just one of many luthiers who are looking for good customers.  It's a buyer's market these days.  That said, soon the market will get better and handmade guitar prices will rise.  History has proven this time and time again.  If you are interested in purchasing a great guitar, now is the time to shop and buy.   Bob Desmond,  2/3/2015.  UPDATE:  Both of these 2014 Desmond guitars sold on February 8, 2015.  FIVE NEW Desmond guitars are under construction and will be ready in LATE 2015.  Bob Desmond 2/14/15
