Four NEW Guitars, September 2014- Sides Being Rough Fit

The above photo shows 4 brand new Desmond classical guitars at an early stage of construction.  I had just cut the side slots on each guitar's neck block, and I dry fit the double sides into their respective slots.  Keep in mind that the sides have not been cut to final length yet!  This is why they look so funny in the photo.  Once the neck blocks are finalized and completed, I will cut each double side to it's final length, removing the proper amount of wood from each end of each side.  Next I will glue the sides into their respective neck slots, and put the guitar shell into it's form, and glue in the end or tail block, thus completing the basic shell of each new guitar.   Still lots of work ahead just to get the basic shells completed.   9/25/14
